Micro-Pak Ltd.

What began as a website for a single product has grown into an ongoing strategic partnership across the Micro-Pak organization.

When Micro-Pak first approached Blastoff, the goal was straightforward: create a website for the global launch of Mold Analyzer. The product was ready, the technology was proven, and the team needed a clear way to introduce it to customers around the world. As we worked alongside leadership, however, it became clear the website wasn’t the real opportunity.

Micro-Pak had grown well beyond a single product. Years of innovation had expanded the company into mold prevention, testing and verification, sustainability, education, and digital platforms. Each initiative solved an important problem, but together they had become increasingly difficult to understand. Customers encountered products individually without seeing how they worked together, while internally every new initiative added another layer to an already complex story. Rather than beginning with design, we focused on understanding.

Over five days in Hong Kong, we worked alongside Micro-Pak’s leadership team to explore the company’s products, services, customers, long-term vision, and how every part of the business connected. Those conversations became the foundation for a communication system that continues to guide decisions across the organization.

The first expression of that thinking was Mold Analyzer. Together, we repositioned the product around a complete testing workflow instead of three individual components. Every page, diagram, illustration, photograph, and piece of copy was created to help customers understand not just what Mold Analyzer was, but why it existed and how it fit into their existing processes. The result was a custom website of more than thirty pages that prepared the product for its global launch while establishing a consistent language for sales, education, and marketing.

That work naturally expanded. As Micro-Pak introduced Closed Loop, the same strategic thinking shaped a platform that helps global retailers collect and track protective packaging and report recycling activity through a simple, repeatable workflow. A trade show experience, print materials, photography direction, executive presentations, and future video strategy all grew from the same foundation, giving every customer touchpoint a consistent voice and purpose.

Eventually, the conversation grew beyond individual products altogether. Together with Micro-Pak’s executive team, we began defining how the company itself should be understood. The work evolved into a company-wide communication system that organized products, services, sustainability initiatives, education, and future digital platforms into a single ecosystem designed to grow without becoming fragmented. That strategy now informs the next generation of Micro-Pak’s global digital presence, creating one unified platform that reflects the company as it exists today while providing a framework for future growth.

Today our partnership continues. What began as a website has become an ongoing collaboration that helps Micro-Pak communicate with greater clarity across products, teams, customers, and markets. As the company continues to grow, each new initiative builds on a shared foundation instead of starting from scratch.

“Working with Nate and his team was a simple process that brought excellent return. Very efficient and smooth. Highly recommended.”
