The challenge

Oven and Shaker, a culinary haven inspired by Chef Whims' Italian journeys, and Fly Fishing Collaborative (FFC), a non-profit combating poverty and sex trafficking, approached us to create a short film featuring mixologist Ryan Magarian for FFC's 2021 Online Banquet.

Our approach

In response to Oven and Shaker and FFC's request, we embarked on producing an 8-minute short film for FFC's live-stream online event.

The solution

Crafting a visual narrative that captured the essence of Oven and Shaker, and the charisma of Ryan Magarian, the co-founder of Aviation American Gin and co-owner of Oven & Shaker, we storyboarded a two-take scene, showcasing his passion for high-end drink-making.

The results

Ryan Magarian's on-screen presence and the engaging short film proved to be a massive success, contributing to the fundraising efforts at FFC's 2021 Online Banquet. The film played a pivotal role in raising over $215,000 to combat poverty and sex trafficking through FFC.
